On June 6, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. we will celebrate 100 years of the International Brotherhood of Magicians being founded in Winnipeg in 1922 by Len Vintus. It started on the 7th floor of the old Union Bank Building, now Red River Culinary College at Main St. And William next to City Hall. In 1927 the IBM grew so large it relocated to the USA. June 6,1986 Doug Henning came to Winnipeg to help dedicate a Plaque on the side of the building with Mayor Bill Norrie. It was a magicial and historical experience. Len always called June 6 Magic Day.
June 6 at 1 pm we will rededicate the Plaque in honor of Len Vintus with a magical event with Mayor Brian Bowman and special guests.
