From Tommy Burnett;
“Vampires, Werewolves, and Whips… Oh My”
Blood Relations by Dr, Michael Likey was definitely one of the wildest things I’ve read in a long time. Blood Relations is a no-holds-barred mashup of vampire myth, erotic fantasy, and old-school pulp horror. Think Dracula with a heavy dose of unfiltered imagination and a taste for the taboo. The story follows an immortal trio — a vampire prince, his vampiric bride, and a shape-shifting werewolf — through centuries of bloodlust, lust-lust, and dark mischief. I really appreciated the creativity here — it’s dripping with atmosphere and isn’t afraid to go all-in on its vision. It’s bold, theatrical, and unapologetically over-the-top, which feels like exactly the point. The throwback pulp style gave it a nostalgic, almost comic-book feel in parts, and there’s something fun about how unrestrained it is. Definitely not your everyday vampire story — it’s its own beast entirely". -Tommy Burnett
