On today's date, June 15th 1985, the one-hour pilot for my first television series, Kiddie Cabaret aired on VPW, Winnipeg. It was so successful, we decided to have it as a regular, 30-minute format, which lasted for several seasons, until I changed the format and renamed it Magic Mike's Castle. This show was updated to a modern-day setting, as I was already appearing weekly on another kids' show, s'Kiddlebits With Joey on CKY. Joey's show's setting was a modern-day attic. Thus, to accomodate my appearances on Joey's show, I dropped the medieval garb in favor of modern day togs. Magic Mike & Company aired until the end of June, 1994. At its height of popularity, VPW aired my show three times a week!
