One of the earliest pictures of me doing magic in #Winnipeg
at #ThePlanetariumAuditorium Circa 1981
I was working full-time as an Illustrator for Westfair Foods ad department illustrating items for SuperValu (later Superstore) newspaper ads. On weekends I had two steady gigs: one for Gabby's on Pembina, doing table-top magic for the patrons. They had me dressed in a western outfit as Doc Holliday; they had "Wanted" posters all over the restaurant promoting me! The other gig started every Saturday-night at 1:00 a.m. at an after-hours bar called "September's". I did table-to-table close-up magic and a platform/stage show.
