#ThrowbackThursday #TBT #MagicMikesCastle #MagicMikeLikey #Winnipeg Circa 1989, my newly-acquired "wizard" persona; What came next was the transformation of my "circus ring-leader" persona "Merlin" (sometimes "Magic Michael Merlin", even "Magic Mike Merlin") on my original TV-show #KiddieCabaret to the "Magic Mike" Likey of the newly-renamed and re-formatted TV-show "Magic Mike's Castle" of that era, which would last until the end of it's 9-year run! In the early season of "Magic Mike's Castle", I hadn't painted an actual castle set/background, so I used a chroma-key background "borrowed" from a children's book which bought me time while I painted the 6-foot high by 8-foot wide castle walls! They were attached via gaffer-tape to 4 flats.
